Project Overview
The Challenge
Visitors cut across the lawn on the fastest line to the door, wearing a muddy track that never grew back. The old concrete slabs had heaved, pooled water, and looked tired against an otherwise cared-for home.
Our Approach
We followed the natural walking line with a gentle curved path in natural stone, set on a compacted aggregate base with proper falls. The worn track was re-graded, re-sodded, and edged in steel so the lawn reads as one clean surface again.
The Result
No more muddy shoes, no more puddles at the step, and a front yard that photographs beautifully. The owners added the walkway to their seasonal maintenance plan for joint checks and sealing.
- Curved natural-stone path on compacted base
- Re-graded and re-sodded lawn with steel edging
- Drainage falls that move water away from the house
